RB Royal Industries Reaches Safety Milestone

FOND DU LAC, WI (November 8, 2006) – RB Royal employees have worked 287,500 hours without a lost time injury. This accounts for over a quarter of a million hours and a little over one year’s time.

The company’s internal safety committee has worked diligently on safety awareness and pushing the company’s employees to own safety by working safely and personally taking steps to make RB Royal safer.

“RB Royal has a safety record that is much lower than the industry average for illness and injury data as well as for days away from work due to injury,” Julie Holcomb, Vice President of Human Resources and a safety committee member said. “Our employees are very safety conscious to be able to achieve this goal.”

Another attributing factor is the management of RB Royal. They have made a commitment to safety and stand 100 percent behind the safety efforts of all employees.

A lost time injury is one where an employee is absent from work for one or more days after the injury.

This is the first time since 1998 that the company has been able to go this long without a lost time injury.
