Product Development Center

On many OEM new product launches or redesign projects requiring the movement of fluids, consideration for hose and/or tubing assemblies often comes at the last minute. There can be a scramble to 'plumb' the fluid delivery system with precious little time remaining to consider alternatives, aesthetics, ease of production as well as design out unnecessary costs.

RB Royal has invested considerable resources in plant space and equipment for a Product Development Center. Our engineers and technicians work with our customers 'in real time' on prototyping or design iterations in this off-line, dedicated area that emulates our manufacturing processes. Although we encourage our customers to involve us early in the design process, it does not always happen. When deadlines are approaching and time is in short supply, we can spring into immediate action, With our PDC at the ready, there is no need to wait for open schedules on equipment to make prototypes or samples. This kind of responsiveness exemplifies our "Manufacturing Confidence" tag line.

In our PDC, we can work side-by-side with our customers to insure we are optimizing design and function. We also have full CAD capabilities to examine 3-D models.

Additionally, some customers may simply leave a prototype of their product with us in our PDC and we will do the design and development of the fluid system components. Importantly, this arrangement allows our customers to focus their limited technical resources on the core competencies of their organization.
