Quality Engineer
RB Royal is a premium manufacturer of fluid transfer systems. Think custom coils, tubing and hoses that move water, air, oil and fuel. We manufacture solutions for the following markets: marine, automotive, construction, motor sports, agriculture, food processing medical, power generation, etc.
Hours / Pay:
8:00am-4:30pm Monday thru Friday.
Pay is based on experience.
$300.00 BONUS GIVEN AFTER 120 DAYS COMPLETED
Summary:
Works with a broad group of personnel to ensure that the overall quality of a manufactured product meets the established requirements. This group may include design teams, manufacturing teams, customers and suppliers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure that final product meets customer and/or industry requirements and expectation while assisting to keep the manufacturing processes as effective and cost efficient as possible.
- Complete part verification and PPAP documentation to the customer and/or industry requirements. Review and maintain customer required documentation throughout all revisions. Maintain the established electronic filing system for customer data so that peers can review if/as needed.
- Work closely with all company personnel to develop and implement process parameters that produce a consistent output, verify output and implement process controls. This may require attention to supporting documentation, change management, process monitoring and training.
- Develop, verify and implement the appropriate test parameters, test procedures, and test frequencies to ensure process controls are being followed as planned.
- Develop, facilitate and/or participate in improvement projects related to corrective action, NC findings, customer returns/concerns and Management Review outputs. Ensure that all actions are completed in a timely manner.
- Manage projects through effective communication, small group instruction and/or overseeing a situation until the activity is fully implemented.
- Take initiative to be knowledgeable of current, upgraded and new quality related methodologies, (ie: inspection equipment, quality software, quality tools, etc.) to support product verification and quality assurance initiatives.
- Ability to recognize and define issues, collect data, organize facts, validate conclusions, implement corrections and present information in a professional manner.
- Support the company and other employees by adhering to all company policies and directives including those related to ISO 9001 QMS, ISO 14001 EMS and Health and Safety.
- Perform other duties, as assigned, based on knowledge and/or experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Business Administration or related field plus 6 years’ experience in a quality process or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Quality certifications desirable. (CQE, CQT, CQA, Six Sigma, etc.)
