Shipping Clerk

RB Royal is a premium manufacturer of fluid transfer systems. Think custom coils, tubing and hoses that move water, air, oil and fuel. We manufacture solutions for the following markets: marine, automotive, construction, motor sports, agriculture, food processing medical, power generation, etc.

Hours / Pay:

10 Hour Shift – Monday thru Thursday

1^st Shift: 5:00am-3:30pmPay is based on experience … minimum starting rate is $16.00/hr.

$300.00 BONUS GIVEN AFTER 120 DAYS COMPLETED

Duties and Responsibilities:

Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.
Prepares items to be shipped to customers by selecting containers, inserting items and packing materials, and securing container.
Assembles containers or selects pre-assembled containers. Inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers and protective padding. Staples or tapes identifying information and shipping labels on packed cartons, affixes bar codes or other identifying information on cartons.
Posts weights and shipping charges and affixes postage.
Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items and records shortages.
Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
May operate forklift or hand truck to move items from shipping and/or receiving to storage area or to unload or load delivery vehicle.
Assists in training new employees on shipping and receiving.
Understands and can prepare shipments based on the specifications of more than one customers requirements for shipments.

Skills and Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent.
Some computer experience and the ability to work within a main frame system.
Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine correspondence, and speak effectively before coworkers and contractors.
Good Attendance.
Basic math skills including fractions.
Regularly required to climb, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
Frequently lifts up to 50 lbs.
