Quality Inspector

RB Royal is a premium manufacturer of fluid transfer systems. Think custom coils, tubing and hoses that move water, air, oil and fuel. We manufacture solutions for the following markets: marine, automotive, construction, motor sports, agriculture, food processing medical, power generation, etc. 

Hours / Pay

8:00am-4:30pm Monday thru Friday.  
Pay is based on experience.  
$300.00 BONUS GIVEN AFTER 120 DAYS COMPLETED

Summary:

Perform regular product evaluations, record inspection results, assist in production part approval process, new product development and recommend improvements to the production process by using the appropriate analysis tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Properly use manual gauges, interpret drawings and a fundamental understanding of GD&T and how it applies to inspection in order to assure part(s) meet customer specification.
  • Incoming inspection of raw materials, components and outside services to ensure conformance.
  • Monitor and inspect rework orders to ensure conformance.
  • Assist in the training of employees for quality assurance and inspection requirements.
  • Assist in data collection to ensure production processes are capable of sustaining customer satisfaction.
  • Participate as a Quality Assurance team member to resolve product issues, discrepancies and ensure the implementation of corrective measures are completed.
  • Assists Quality Assurance team with quality inspection requirements, PPAP documentation and process documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:  High School diploma and a minimum of 1year experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment. Experience with the use of gages such as micrometers, calipers, thread ring and plug gages, height gage, optical comparator required. Experience with CMM and/or FARO Arm and/or Roamer Arm with the ability to interpret and apply x, y, z coordinates for inspection applications.
